AUDIVA products
Since the beginning of the 90s we manufacture auditory training products which meanwhile are used thousandfold and are high in quality and durability.
Our hearing training devices are utilized in the field of logopedics, ergotherapy, speech therapy and others (see hier). They are both applied in therapeutic treatment and at home in the environment of the person concerned.
A daily auditory training in a familiar environment parallel to the weekly therapy sessions is advantageous. However, it can also be conducted autonomously, without therapeutic support.
We offer the following procedures:
Hearing perception training with the HearingPerceptionTrainer:
HPT home, HPT praxis, HPT standard and HPT spectrum (see hier).
It works with music (phase A as receptive music therapy) and speech (phase B as receptive and active speech conformation, with the own voice via microphone (self-perception) and the extrinsic voice (Hörbuch or mother's voice). In the HPT Hochtonfilterung high tone filtering and Lateralisierung lateralisation have an effect. The feel of the body is involved by the Klangbox soundbox and the bone hearer. Knochenhörer
Dichotic hearing training with the DichoTrainer:
DichoTrainer and DichoTrainer PROFI (see hier).
It works with speech (timely precise speech conformation for left and right ear, linked to a playful task).
Functional auditory and visual training with the BrainFit:
BrainFit home, BrainFit play and BrainFit easy (see hier).
It works with artificial klicks and sounds, precise intervals in correspondance with a playful task
Specific or non-specific?
AUDIVA hearing training works with the HPT with music (phase A as receptive music therapy) on a level which is not specified on symptoms. This hearing training DOESN'T require attentiveness or action by the person listening.
The listener can relax or carry out other creative activities which his express innermost parts. Therefore there is principally no age limit (1-99 years) and it is suitable for subjects with development delay through to mental and physical deficiency.
This form of therapy is of particular value because it represents an antipole towards the rationality of school and society which focus on goals and success. This is increasingly recognised, as recent research reports on the effect of music show.

Learning receptivity is co-affected by all types of perceptual disorder. As soon as perception takes place, learning happens. This is why learning receptivity – contingent upon concentration and attentiveness – needs to be improved first of all.
Specific linguistic support:
HearingPerceptionTrainer HPT in phase B: With microphone and headphones it provides the ear with the self-spoken word amplified in the consonant and formant range. This is achieved by the filtering in the HPT device. The ear receives then an exact echo of the own voice. The person can learn to perceive and, as a consequence, to express himself better.
A good speech perception is the basis for the cognition, learning, speaking, writing and spelling of otherwise difficult speech patterns.
